PwC has been offering sustainability related services for over a decade and has developed a large network of global sustainability practitioners around the world.

We realise the challenges that businesses are increasingly facing in terms of stricter environmental regulation, increased pressures from stakeholders on social responsibility and increased costs as a result of resource constraints. These challenges are pushing organisations to place sustainable performance on their agenda.

Our Sustainability practice helps organisations plan, source, deliver, finance and measure the wider impact of products and services. We typically assist businesses in conducting corporate sustainability assessments, integrating sustainability into their corporate strategy, measuring and reporting on their non-financial performance, dealing with increased environmental regulation, developing and implementing sustainable procurement and processes, and in improving relations and engaging with stakeholders. In doing so, we make use of our people’s skills across all lines of service.

At PwC we not only assist our clients in achieving their sustainability related goals. We believe in implementing practices within our organisation that are designed on the pillars of sustainability. Our people are our key asset. The firm always strives to attract and retain the best people. In doing so, the firm continuously provides training and development through its learning & education programmes and addresses the needs of our employees through various initiatives and supporting boards and committees, such as the ‘Diversity Committee’. We are also aware that our own operations have an impact and the environment, and we constantly strive to minimise this impact. The firm has established a ‘Green Committee’ that meets regularly to consider scope for improvements that are primarily driven by monitoring key environmental performance indicators.
