The Base
You will need 1 – 2 ripe bananas per serving. Peel the bananas and slice it into chunks Freeze them for at least 7 hours Place the chunks into a food processor and process till it’s nice and smooth If you have a small processor you have to work in batches It can take a while to get the perfect smooth consistency, but you’ll get there.
2-Ingredient Chocolate Banana Nice Cream
Ingredients (2 serving of 3 scoops each) 4 frozen bananas (peeled, chopped, frozen overnight) 4 tablespoons cocoa powder Optional Toppings 2 teaspoon coconut oil (liquid) 2 teaspoon maple syrup 2 teaspoon cocoa powder 2 teaspoon cocoa nibs Instructions- Put the frozen banana and cocoa powder in your food processor. Process until completely smooth.
- If you want to make a chocolate sauce, whisk together the coconut oil, maple syrup, and cocoa powder. Drizzle over the ice cream. Sprinkle with cocoa nibs. Enjoy!
Watermelon Nice Cream
Ingredients (2 serving of 3 scoops each) 4 frozen bananas peeled, chopped, frozen overnight 2 cup frozen watermelon chunks cubed, frozen overnight Instructions- Place the frozen bananas and watermelon chunks in your food processor.
- Pulse until it’s super creamy ice cream! You might have to scrape down the sides a few times.
Vegan Strawberry Shortcake Nice Cream
Ingredients (3 serving of 3 scoops each) 2 frozen bananas peeled, chopped, frozen overnight 145g frozen strawberries 4 vegan shortbread cookies Instructions- Place the shortbread cookies into the food processor and pulse until crumbly. Pour them in a bowl and set aside for now.
- Put the frozen banana and strawberries in your food processor. Pulse until completely smooth. You might have to scrape down the sides a few times. Then add about 3/4 of the cookie crumbs and pulse again.
- Transfer the strawberry shortcake ice cream into a bowl or scoop into cones and sprinkle with the rest of the cookie crumbs!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Ingredients (2 serving of 3 scoops each) 4 ripe and spotty bananas 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 tablespoons peanut butter – divided Instructions- Place the frozen banana chunks, cocoa powder and half of the peanut butter in a food processor, and pulse until a creamy banana ice cream is formed.
- Scoop into bowls, drizzle the rest of the peanut butter on top. Enjoy!
